F.I.T. (fully independent traveller)
The F.I.T. department handles bookings for individual travellers. It provides an unrivalled service to its tour operator clients around the clock, seven days a week, 365 days of the year.

Users of the Reservation System have direct access to the vast GTA database of hotels, hotel reports, sightseeing tours and apartments. The system indicates major trade fair dates, which could create price fluctuations, or other remarks affecting accommodation availability.

Major global destinations feature city maps showing exact hotel locations. These can be printed and given to passengers as an added service. Information on many hotels is supported by interior and exterior images to provide a realistic view of the properties.

The features rich system and high functionality of the GTA Reservation System enable clients to 'look and book' online - direct from the vast selection of accommodation pre-allocated to GTA - completing the transaction in real time with immediate confirmation of bookings.

The GTA online reservation system is one of the very few that allows access to live inventory.

Buying Power

The sheer volume of the GTA global business provides the company with enormous buying power. GTA's negotiators contract with hotels and services to obtain allocations at the keenest and most competitive prices, which can then be passed onto its clients.

Outstanding personal service lies at the core of GTA's global network operation. Each client is assigned a personal account manager to build up knowledge of specific business requirements to ensure continuity of service. Tariff

Thousands of GTA contracted hotels and local land services are featured in the seasonal tariffs detailing exclusive GTA confirmed prices. To assist clients with promotions GTA identifies 'Best Buys'. All this business-critical information can be accessed via a GTA Tariff Viewer program, supplied to travel partners and enabling each one to create their own brand tariffs and promotions.

The Tariff viewer allows searches by category of hotel, location, price and Best Buys. It is also possible for travel partners to mark up GTA rates in a variety of ways and export our data to a variety of databases.

Local Services

The Data Department at GTA maintains one of the world's largest tour operator databases.

In addition to accommodation, thousands of land service contracts in each country are negotiated by specialist staff located around the world.
