Tell us why you are right for us

Research

Why do you want to work for us?

Prepare a response so you are ready for the question. Our websites provide lots of information about Kuoni Global Travel Services and our business interests, so learn some of the key points. Try to relate what you know about the company when answering questions.

Another great tip to help you - know the interviewer's name and job title and use it during the job interview where appropriate. If you are not sure of the name, call and ask prior to the interview.

Practice

Practice answering interview questions and practice your responses to the typical job interview questions and answers most employers ask.

Think of actual examples you can use to describe your skills. Providing evidence of your successes is a great way to promote why you may be right for us. Also have a list of your own questions to ask.

Get ready

Always dress appropriately.  Make sure your interview attire is suitable for business.

Prepare a portfolio with copies of your CV and, where required, your passport/ID and right to work visa. Include a pen and paper for taking notes.

Be on time

Be on time for the interview. On time means five to ten minutes early. If need be, visit the interview location ahead of time so you know exactly where you are going and how long it will take to get there. Make sure you know exactly who you are meeting and for which position. Inform the office Reception when you arrive at the office.

In advance of the meeting, make a note of the office telephone number so that, in case of any problems, you can call ahead to inform your interviewer.

Stay calm

During the job interview try to relax and stay as calm as possible. Take a moment to prepare yourself. Maintain eye contact with the interviewer. Listen to the entire question before you answer and if you do not understand the context, do not be afraid to ask. Asking someone to repeat a question or rephrase it is better than answering incorrectly.

Show what you know

Try to relate what you know about the company when answering questions. When discussing your career accomplishments match them to what the company is looking for. Use as many examples as you can where relevant. This will help us know that you are the right person for the job.

Most importantly...be yourself!
